Is Arke an expert network?
Not exactly. Arke is built around enterprise software adoption. We identify and verify people with relevant technology experience, then let companies request paid sales calls or feedback calls with them.
What kind of calls are these?
Two kinds, always labelled on the request. Sales calls, where a company shows you its product and makes its case. And feedback or research calls, where someone building in your space wants your honest view. You choose which kinds you take.
Do I have to accept requests?
No. You choose every company and every call.
Who sets the price?
You set your own price for 30 minutes, and there is no ceiling. If you’re not sure what to ask, Arke can suggest a rate that companies in your category are likely to book. Companies may also offer more than you ask.
Does payment mean I have to consider or buy the product?
No. Payment is for your time on the call, never for a purchase, recommendation, approval or favourable decision.
What about my employer’s policies?
You are responsible for following your employer’s rules on outside compensation, vendor interactions and conflicts of interest. Arke will support employer-policy controls as the network grows.
Will companies get my contact information?
Arke controls the introduction. Joining the network does not expose your inbox to a new list of vendors.
Why did Arke invite me?
Arke recruits people who appear close to real enterprise technology adoption: people who evaluate, implement, influence, use or help choose software. You verify your own experience when you join.
